- Taylor Montgomery (25-1): The anticipation has been matched, as Montgomery has been tipped as a possible Rookie of the Year contender. After finishing third at the Fortinet Championship, the 27-year-old will try to build on his performance in the season opening this week in Jackson. Montgomery is a great statistical match for the Country Club of Jackson; he is plenty far off the tee and is coming off a tournament where he gained over 11 strokes putting.

- Riley, Davis (33-1): For the fourth time, the Mississippi lad returns to his native state in search of some shape. Riley is coming off a dismal performance in Napa, where he missed the cut and dropped over six strokes on the greens in just two rounds. After struggling with consistency in his debut season, a victory seems to be in his future, but not this week.

Clark, Wyndham
Winner (40-1): Clark’s game is defined by long drives and streaky putting, making him an ideal statistical match for the Country Club of Jackson. The 28-year-old is coming off a T43 result at the Fortinet Championship as well as a solid 2021-22 season on OKBet Sanderson. While he has yet to win on the PGA Tour, he has competed on a regular basis, most notably in the Rocket Mortgage Classic and Canadian Open. Clark is a great breakout prospect in this area if his iron play can stay up with the rest of his game.
Power, Seamus
Contender (40-1): It was a lackluster finale to Power’s great 2021-22 season. The Irishman was eliminated from the FedEx Cup Playoffs at the BMW Championship, but he may find heart in the fact that he competed in some of the season’s top fields at OKBet Sanderson. Power has top-20 performances in the US Open, PGA Championship, and WGC Match Play, and he is no stranger at Country Club of Jackson. Power has three top-30 results in five previous outings and has averaged +0.66 strokes gained putting each round.
Burmester, Dean
Sleeper (60-1): Burmester, a DP World Tour regular, is currently aiming for the PGA Tour after qualifying via the Korn Ferry Tour Playoffs. When he did play on the PGA Tour last season, the big-hitting South African performed well, finishing T10 at the Scottish Open and T11 at The Open. If Burmester can generate a half-decent putting effort, he should be able to meander his way into the top page of the leaderboard in his season debut on OKBet Sanderson.
